Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2008 Subaru Tribeca Limited. I would rate the exterior of this Tribeca to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking crossover. It is finished in Black over Tan leather interior, which is a good color combination. The black finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. The worst thing I can say about the exterior of this Tribeca is that there are a few paint issues around the edges of the hood and on the front bumper. You may not even be able to see these in the photos, but you can in person and I want to be thorough. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors, and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Tribeca came in. I would also rate the interior of this Tribeca to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear for their age. The driver's window does not work. The other three windows, as well as the power locks, mirrors, and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. Rear passenger room is ample and the cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Tribeca appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.6L six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine makes good power and feels smooth. During my road test, the check engine and traction control light came on. The codes present were catalyst efficiency below threshold for both sides. I've personally put the last 50+ miles on this Tribeca and can tell you that the cats are not clogged. I would look to a metering issue or something like that first. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The AWD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. I really like this Tribeca. It somehow manages to feel small and big at the same time. It is easy to handle and drive day to day but has plenty of room and feels substantial going down the road. In the event of any dispute between the parties arising out of this transaction, the parties agree and consent that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for the resolution of such dispute shall be Pennsylvanias Court of Common Pleas, Montgomery County, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. 8. Notices - No notice or other communication is sufficient to affect any rights, remedies or obligations of either party unless the notice or communication is in writing and (as elected by the party giving the notice or communication) is (i) personally delivered, (ii) transmitted by facsimile (with a receipt acknowledgment), (iii) transmitted by electronic computer mail, (iv) transmitted by a recognized courier service or (v) mailed in registered or certified form, to the party to which notice or communication is being given.
